The winners of the 29th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards are being announced on Sunday, February 27 at 8pm ET (Monday 11am AEST).
The SAGs are the last major Hollywood awards before the Oscars are due to take place on March 13, 2023.
This year, the acting categories are a heated race between Michelle Yeoh, the star of Everything Everywhere All At Once and Tár’s Cate Blanchett, while the male category is expected to be a toss-up between Brendan Fraser and Austin Butler.

Curtis, 64, took to the stage to accept her award with an emotional speech, revealing she was wearing her mother’s wedding ring for the occasion.
The actress won for her outstanding performance in the film, Everything Everywhere All At Once and couldn’t help but make reference to the hotly-contested “nepo baby” debate going on in Hollywood.
“I know you look at me and think, ‘Nepo baby, that’s why she’s there, and I totally get it!” she said, referring to her famous parents Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh.
“But the truth of the matter is, I’m 64 years old, and this is amazing!”

Michelle Yeoh beat out Cate Blanchett for the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor gong at this 2023 SAG Awards.
During her speech, the Malaysian-born star, 60, described the “roller coaster ride” it took to get to this point in her career.
“I thank you for your love and your support, and I know I am up against titans… rightly so,” Yeoh told the audience, before becoming too emotional to continue.
“F–!” she added, “Thank you, thank you! This isn’t just for me, this is for every little girl who looks like me.”

“I will treasure this,” Brendan Fraser told the audience, while accepting his SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor.
“I never would have thought I’d have been offered a role like this in my life.”
Speaking about his role as Charlie in The Whale, Fraser said he had experienced similar hardships in his life and career, using a metaphor of being lost out at sea.
“I’ve also had that wave smash me right down to the ocean floor and drag my face along there…” he said.
“To all the actors out there who have gone through that, I know how you feel. Believe me, if you just stay in there and put one foot in front of another, you’ll get there.”
